Lighthart studied product development at the Henry Vandevelde-Institute at the academy of Antwerp in Belgium and design at the University of Technology in Delft for his outstanding work, he was awarded with several prestigious design awards, such as Design Plus Award, Red Dot design Award, and BIDA Award for outstanding design.
