High Flying

Despite the huge knock on effects of the volcanic ashes that will dominate many of our lives for some time to come, on a more positive note, we thought we would celebrate the return to the skies with this vision of how we will all be flying in the future –or at least might like to.

This futuristic, state-of-the-art interior of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental was made possible by a partnership between Boeing and Greenpoint Technologies. A curved, sweeping staircase, chic lounging area, and stylish sleeper berths are included in the advanced 747-8 designs.

Personally I’d go for one of the private 747-8 VIP berths with a proper size double bed as well as a privacy curtain, removable decorative panels and a passenger service unit for calling a flight attendant.

Have a look at the other fabulous photos but a word of warning… don’t scroll too far and spoil your daydreams; the Economy section still has an achingly familiar look to it
